From ensuring occupational health and safety to fighting for equality and non-discrimination, Lluch Essence works to ensure respect for human rights throughout its value chain. Respect for human rights is the base of Lluch Essence's ethical commitment. For this reason, Lluch Essence and all its employees recognize and are committed to the respect of internationally recognized human rights as stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). In the same way, this commitment is reflected through the adhesion to the United Nations Global Compact, in which the work for the respect of human rights is reflected in its first six Principles, which emanate from the International Declaration of Human Rights of 1948. Lluch Essence has its own measures that establish its commitment to respect human rights, which is reflected in our Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics establishes the principles, values and standards of conduct that must govern the ethical behavior of all the people who are part of Lluch Essence and all its stakeholders (employees, agents, distributors, customers and suppliers, among others). On the other hand, Lluch Essence has a specific code of conduct for suppliers, which establishes the principles, values and rules of conduct that should govern the ethical behavior of all the people who work for Lluch Essence. Lluch Essence insists on the need to respect moral and ethical values, and expects its suppliers to adhere to this same philosophy. |

Work and labor relations: Lluch Essence promotes equality and quality in people's work. There is a 65% job stability, and we continue to grow so that the positions are even more stable. We work on family conciliation policies, offering our staff flexible hours, the possibility of one day of teleworking for positions that allow it, and we ensure that work is decent according to our collective agreement. Regarding comprehensive compensation and benefits, we rely on a flexible compensation plan, made up of different products and services that are exempt from the personal income tax; we offer a vacation day for birthdays; we provide free parking on our facilities; we count on water and season’s fruit services; as well as Christmas events, Christmas hampers for employees, and economic benefits in situations of marriage, birth or long-term leave. This year we have implemented proposals and dynamics in favor of sustainability, such as measures to raise awareness of recycling and promote the use of public transportation or the use of shared private transportation. We are also very aware as a family company of talent retention, providing the necessary support in complicated situations such as deaths of relatives or hospitalizations. However, we also celebrate the best moments of our staff by giving presents to families when there is a birth in the great family of Lluch Essence. Labor conditions and social protection: At Lluch Essence we are committed to all the principles established for the United Nations Global Compact, respecting all the guidelines related to human rights. Among, our strongest commitments is the respect and compliance with current labor legislation. On the other hand, we have our code of ethics, which serves as a roadmap for all ethical guidelines of the company. In addition, we have a Compliance Committee that covers possible complaints that may arise, as well as a complaint channel with an Equality Agent for situations related to sexual or labor harassment. Social dialogue In compliance with our collective agreement, at Lluch Essence we hold monthly meetings with the Company Committee, with whom we work on social dialogue and carry out a follow-up of the staff’s doubts and concerns, as well as validating improvements and news that impact every member of Lluch Essence. Human development and training in the workplace. At Lluch Essence, we foster an internal professional growth. We like to impart internal trainings and formations to further analyze our firm, so that employees can better understand the purpose of their job every day. We believe in career plans, and we strive to motivate our employees to maintain a commitment with the company, and to keep progressing professionally within the firm. In addition, in our annual training plan, we encourage our employees to undertake external formation in order to acquire new skills and knowledge that makes the growth of their professional career with us possible. Occupational health and safety In Lluch Essence we are committed to our workers, having a kind of complementary measures in occupational health and safety. For each job position, the control measures in terms of occupational risk prevention are permanently updated (risk assessment, documentation and mandatory procedures, adapted programmed training actions, etc.), complying with all the legal requirements in vigor. On the other hand, in favor of healthy nutrition, Lluch Essence offers fruit once a week and free water to all its workers. Gender Equality Lluch Essence declares its commitment to the establishment and development of policies that integrate equality in treatment and opportunities between men and women, without directly or indirectly discriminating on the basis of gender. The way in how society as a whole responds to environmental challenges over the next decade will be decisive, and making the right sustainable choices today will ensure a stable climate for the coming years. Companies hold the crucial factor in reaching that idyllic future, using their position in the global marketplace to drive sustainable initiatives and requesting the collaboration of their stakeholders. That is why at Lluch Essence we are aware of our impact on society and work as a team to establish an effective environmental strategy that is aligned with the company's objectives and values. Lluch Essence has an environmental policy that includes the principles and values to which we are committed, which can be summarized in the following commitments: § Adopt the necessary measures to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and other voluntary commitments. § Preventing, controlling and minimizing the environmental impact of the activity on the environment. Opting for those investments or optimization of resources that allow for sustainable growth. § To commit to reducing energy consumption, waste, spills and emissions in its activity, also forming part of the important global effort to create a more environmentally friendly society. § Participate proactively in associations and other interest groups that promote initiatives that contribute to greater environmental awareness and the improvement of production processes, based on the sustainable management of resources. § Training, sensitizing and involving the entire human team so that in their daily activities they develop and apply actions that minimize environmental impact, promoting the responsible use of natural resources. § Adopt the necessary measures to prevent environmental risks, especially serious accidents, and limit their consequences on the environment. Lluch Essence assumes the responsibility to put into practice the principles previously described, Therefore we work to carry out all our activities in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals. We consider environmental management as a fundamental value of the corporate culture. We promote environmental awareness and allocate the necessary resources to ensure the successful implementation of this environmental policy. Below, we present our actions implemented in 2021: § To ensure compliance with environmental regulations, Lluch Essence has a consolidated Carbon Footprint Calculation Methodology following GHG Protocol standards: o Data collection for the Emissions Inventory (biannual registration). o Compilation of electric energy consumption (monthly record). o Water Footprint calculation with the Water Footprint Network Calculator. o Calculation of Carbon Footprint with the OECC (Spanish Climate Change Office) Calculator. o Other environmental indicators such as: pollutant emissions, percentage of waste sent to landfill, percentage of renewable energy consumption, percentage of renewable energy generated, percentage of hazardous waste generated, etc. (annual record). § Actions to control environmental impact: o Since October 2019, Lluch Essence, started a collaboration with ClimateTrade, to minimize the environmental impact by offsetting the emissions generated (facilities, vehicles, commercial flights and participation in exhibitions). Likewise, in 2021, its digital platform was used for carbon footprint compensation. o In 2021 it has a portfolio of organic, natural and sustainable products. All of them certified by CCPAE and ECOCERT. o We are working to prioritize raw materials that do not come from species that are under attack or in danger of extinction, as is the case of palm oil. Likewise, we prioritize suppliers that work with this product to be certified with RSPO, for a sustainable use of palm oil. § Actions to reduce energy consumption: o Lluch Essence has created an energy transition strategy for the year 2023, in order to install solar panels which will provide 100% of the energy needed in the company. § Participation in sustainable initiatives: o In 2021 Lluch Essence has had the opportunity to participate in different trainings and seminars that have helped us to consolidate our actions in favor of sustainability. § Staff training on minimizing environmental impact: o In order to raise awareness among the Lluch Essence team and as a follow-up to the activity carried out for the World Recycling Day, additional and specific trainings on Recycling have been carried out. § Prevention of environmental risks through the following sustainability indexes: o Ecovadis: Lluch Essence responds annually to the EcoVadis CSR evaluation questionnaire. The final score is calculated based on 21 CSR criteria in the following areas: Environment, Social, Business Ethics and Responsible Purchasing. In 2021, Lluch Essence has obtained a score of 59/100, 13 points higher than our previous score, obtaining for the first time the company's "Silver" level of commitment. This score places us above the average score of the companies evaluated by EcoVadis in our sector. Our scorecard is currently shared with 34 of our clients. o SEDEX: Is one of the world's leading ethical trade membership organizations, working with companies to improve working conditions in global supply chains. They provide an online platform, tools and services to help companies operate responsibly and sustainably, protect workers (health, safety and labor standards) and source ethically. as part of Lluch Essence's transparency policy, we share our report with our customers through the SEDEX platform: ZC131445924. At Lluch Essence we believe in a development based on continuous improvement, we start by carrying out small acts related to responsible consumption that have a big impact on the environment such as, for example, the replacement of plastic cups and toilet paper for others made of materials that have less impact on the environment. Following these guidelines, Lluch Essence is working on a project to replace lab coats with a more sustainable option. These will be made according to eco-design parameters. Similarly, one of Lluch Essence's most ambitious projects is the eco-design of secondary packaging for product samples sent to customers. We are currently in the planning stage, in which our ambition is to create a monomatrerial, resistant and efficient packaging to send the samples of our products. |

Ethics is the fundamental value on which long-term relationships can be built, and these relationships are primarily based on trust. For us, and for the companies of the group, it is key that our way of working is our identity. Compliance is the set of procedures and best practices that have been defined with the aim of minimising the legal and operational risks that may arise from conducting our business and that may lead to fines and penalties or even criminal consequences. For this purpose, internal mechanisms for prevention, management, control and intervention have been established. In this regard, the Lluch Essence Code of Ethics has been integrated into the strategy of the company as part of the corporate culture. Its purpose is to establish the principles, values and rules of conduct that govern the ethical behaviour of everyone who is part of Lluch Essence and all its stakeholders. All persons who are part of Lluch Essence must maintain strict observance of the existing legislation in all territories in which the company conducts its business. When recruiting personnel, Lluch Essence is governed by the principle of non-discrimination due to gender, age, nationality, religion, political or sexual orientation, marital status, disability or familial responsibilities. Relationships among Lluch Essence professionals must always be based on mutual respect and trust defined by freedom, the spirit of collaboration and the inherent rights of individuals for the purpose of maintaining a pleasant working environment. Human rights are inherent to all individuals, without discrimination. Therefore, Lluch Essence and all of its employees acknowledge and commit to respecting the internationally recognised human rights established by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). From Lluch Essence, being loyal to our values and always acting with a sense of responsibility, we commit ourselves ethically with clients, partners, suppliers, and associations of the sector, both private and public, to achieve positive results. At the marketing and communication department, we contrast the sources of information, being objective communications and according to our principles, without prejudicing others and taking into account the behaviors of the code of ethics. We work hand in hand with agencies and suppliers that comply with good practices and we apply fair selection criteria for the contracting of services. In addition, we apply a policy of complete transparency with all stakeholders. We take our clients in consideration, we like to listen to them and give them the solutions they need, and we like to be with them when making decisions, taking into account the cultural and social factors of each market. Our suppliers are our partners and we have a continuous dialogue with them, ensuring a good level of business ethics, and taking into account that they work with respect for the environment and people. With respect to our employees, we are committed to promoting an environment of open communication, creating development initiatives and relying on them for initiatives that promote the improvement of the company, work processes, as well as improvements at a personal level. In terms of data protection and privacy, we have all of our employees' confidential information registered through department-specific GPOs. With respect to customer data and more confidential information, the information is not available in its entirety physically, and is hosted externally to a multinational technology company that handles Microsoft, IBM or SAP data. That is why they have a rigorous backup system, with network knowledge and certifications capable of coping with our infrastructure.

Lluch Essence considers it essential to get involved and actively participate in the community, both locally and internationally. One of the actions aimed at reducing our environmental impact has been the calculation of our carbon footprint and the subsequent compensation in social and environmental projects. This year CO2 emissions have been offset with the "Yaawi Iipana Redd+" project, which is a conservation project framed in sustainability criteria. The goals of the project are: the protection of forests, protection of animals in danger of existence, rescue of cultural identity and promotion of productive practices, and the empowerment of women in the community. |

At Lluch Essence we work to identify and prioritize the most relevant issues for the company and its stakeholders, that is why in 2021 we carried out the first materiality assessment of the company. Based on this analysis, we measure the company's most significant social, environmental and economic impacts to ensure that we focus on the proper priorities.
Our activity has an impact that goes far beyond economic results, which is why we have to align our business performance with the expectations of our stakeholders and society in general.
Lluch Essence follows the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Integrated Reporting Framework for the study of its materiality, and was guided throughout the process by an external consultant.
The process began with the analysis of material issues considering the current context and the Sustainable Development Goals implemented by the United Nations Compact. A simulation workshop was held with the employees of Lluch Essence, who interpreted the different stakeholders and discussed the different material issues.
As a result of this workshop, 20 material issues were collected under five different aspects: acting on climate change, caring about people (internal and external) and growing business for good (Bon Govern and Economic). Lluch Essence collected the impressions of all its stakeholders, both internally and externally, by conducting an electronic survey and working together to prioritize the relevant issues for each stakeholder group.
The result of the process was validated by the General Direction and the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, and was integrated into our sustainability strategy and published in the sustainability report 2021.
