Lluch Essence is a family business with a tradition of more than 70 years of supplying flavor and fragrances to the perfumery, cosmetics, animal feed and human food industry. Our DNA is a mixture of commitment, honesty, transparency, effort, rigor, and a clear vocation of service to offer our clients the best materials to develop their products. Our great expertise and relationships forged over many years allow us to understand and satisfy the needs of our clients and share knowledge so that they perceive us as an ally and not just a distributor.

Lluch Essence has 19,000 m2 of warehouse and office space, and has a portfolio of more than 3,000 permanent products in stock, which enables a very short delivery time. Lluch Essence, through affiliates and distribution centers around the world, offers an efficient logistic chain to supply our customers with raw materials from the origin, as sustainable as possible, knowing the specifications required by customers, and with excellent service. Goods may be provided in any type of packaging at the customer's request. On the other hand, goods receipt, warehousing, and order picking processes are controlled through the SAP Warehouse Management module.

Lluch Essence has implemented a Quality Management System based on the UNE-ES ISO 9001 Standard that covers the processes, the control, the operations planning for the production of goods, the evaluation of the results obtained, and the measurement of customer satisfaction. All this is included in a process of measurement and analysis to increase the efficiency and continuous improvement of the system.

ESTRUCTURA DE GOBERNANZA: 

 

Lluch Essence is a family-owned company dedicated to the global distribution and commercialization of essential oils and aroma chemicals with over 60 years of experience.

These past few years, we have evolved our sustainability governance mechanisms from formal structures to more collaborative processes. We further reinforced leadership, ownership, and management of sustainability issues by creating new roles and revising our sustainability governance structure.

Reflecting the importance we place on people, culture and values, since 2021, we have the position of Technical and Sustainability Director. Who is a member of the Executive committee reporting annually to the Board on our corporate sustainability strategy and performance.

We also have the social corporate responsibility team focused on defining ambitious and measurable objectives, annually approved by the Executive committee. The achievement of those objectives is measured using performance indicators monitored.

We have implemented those committees which assure that Lluch Essence is managed with transparency to foster trust with the company and also with our stakeholders. Decisions are always taken under the umbrella of ethics and bearing in mind effectiveness and sustainability.

Our Executive committee includes several people which play a part in the main activities of the company. All of them assume the role of leaders in front of the teams that report to them, assuming the relevant responsibilities of their workspace:

ALCANCE:

The present corporate sustainability report is referring Lluch Essence headquarter in Barcelona and, subsidiaries in México and Colombia.

We are glad to present our new COP (Communication On Progres) Report, which documents the strong commitment of the Lluch Essence team with the sustainable development, as well as the transformation of our values into actions and results of good corporate governance.

Lluch Essence demonstrates its continued support to the ten principles of the Global Compact regarding Human Rights, Labor Rights, Environment and the fight against corruption, adopting the 2030 Agenda and the Objectives of Sustainable Development as the main guide for its implementation.        

The COP that we present to you is released 100% online through the digital platform RightSupply.net and contemplates the fundamental matters established by the ISO 26000 standard on corporate social responsibility. The information and data declared therein have been verified by the auditing services of ECOMUNDIS, accrediting the degree of annual progress of Lluch Essence in the non-financial matters described.

2021 has been a year of changes; we have lived through a season of chaos and confusion, marked by the post-COVID world and the recent confrontations in Europe. All these factors have had effects on the supply chain, through the lack of raw materials and the pressure on natural resources.

We can say that we have learned to live with uncertainty.

From Lluch Essence we progress, we advance, but we want to do it firmly and, above all, with stability. History shows that in times of disruption, resilience depends on adaptability and decisiveness in decisions.

For Lluch Essence, to prosper is to advance in a sustainable way in all senses. Our objective is to grow together with our clients, offering them the best essential oils and aromatic chemicals for the fragrance, flavor, cosmetic and animal feed industries. In this sense, we are deeply grateful to all the workers of the company who help us to grow and who guarantee the excellence of the service to our clients.

Currently, we are facing an ambitious plan to make our company a benchmark in transparency, sustainability and confidence, where we aspire for our stakeholders to understand that Lluch Essence's commitment is unquestionable.

Little by little, with transparency and a firm step, we continue to commit to sustainability. We align this commitment to our business strategy together with the Objectives of Sustainable Development (ODS) and the 2030 agenda. With this objective, we are becoming aware and creating larger projects, such as the installation of more than 350 solar panels that today self-generate more than 12% of the company's energy needs. Also, emphasize that 100% of the energy we consume is green and comes from renewable sources.

At Lluch Essence we are committed to creating value with our actions. We understand that it is our responsibility to contribute to a healthier community, causing a positive impact on people, working in strategic alliances and supporting communities.

Every step we take to reach sustainability is designed to minimize the environmental impact, through the implementation of simple actions that can make a substantial difference in the future: reducing the carbon footprint and expanding our catalog of organic products are some of our challenges.

Lluch Essence is aware that each product and packaging that comes to market is a possible waste, which depending on its nature, its recycling or reuse may be impossible or even interfere with the recyclability of other products. In this context, the main lines of action of our environmental management are based on a circular economy model prioritizing prevention, eco-design and recycling.

As established by Law 22/2011 on waste and contaminated soils, in caring for the environment, special emphasis must be placed on prevention, understood as the set of measures taken before a product becomes waste. In this context, Lluch Essence has been working to implement eco-design in its products and packaging. One of Lluch Essence's most ambitious projects is to expand its portfolio of natural, organic and sustainable products through organic agriculture.

Organic agriculture, also known as ecological or bio, reflects a method of agricultural production that respects the environment, based on farming practices and breeding in tune with natural cycles, which exclude the use of genetically modified organisms and aim to restrict the use of synthetic chemicals (both fertilizers and pesticides) and ensure a high level of welfare for living beings. In addition, it includes all other stages of the supply chain (supply of raw materials, processing, storage, transport, distribution and retail services).

We can offer organic essential oils and we are increasing the offer according to customers needs. As well as the mixture of these essential oils in our manufacturing sites of flavouring or fragrances for third parties, according to European leaf or Ecocert Cosmos Organic respectively.

One of the most important elements of the tertiary packaging are the pallets, in the past, when a damage was noticed in one of them, it was discarded. However, since 2019 Lluch Essence participates in a pallet recirculation project.

In which, we have a company approved by the waste agency of Catalonia, which is responsible for collecting the pallets, that no longer fulfill their function due to damage or other causes, and repair them with remaining pieces of pallets from other companies. Finally, the repaired pallets are returned and others are sold to other companies that use the same type of pallets.

In this way, we ensure that we extend the useful life of the pallets we use.

Driving the change for carbon neutrality

In Lluch Essence we understand that the carbon footprint is not only an element of calculation, it is also the first step on the road to improvement and commitment to the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG).

For its quantification, we consider the carbon footprint as the total amount of greenhouse gases generated by our actions as a company, in the events in which we participate and the life cycle of our products, among other factors.

To carry out the inventory of GHG emissions we follow the international regulations of the GHG Protocol. Lluch Essence quantifies the direct emissions of its facilities, such as those generated by the facilities and company vehicles (Scope I), and those indirect emissions from the generation of electricity purchased (Scope II). It also quantifies activities outside the boundaries of the organization, such as business trips and exhibitions or events (Scope III).

The quantification is done through the OECC (Spanish Climate Change Office) calculator and is expressed in tons of CO2 equivalent.

Once calculated and being aware of the value of the carbon footprint, we carry out its voluntary compensation. Carbon offsetting systems allow us to invest in environmental and social projects around the world to balance our carbon footprint. Most of these projects are located in developing countries and are designed to reduce future emissions.

In 2021, Lluch Essence's carbon footprint was 280 tons of CO2 equivalent, which was offset through our partner Climatetrade, through the YAAWI IIPANA REDD+ project.

YAAWI IIPANA REDD+ is a conservation project that seeks to protect part of the forests of the Amazon region and mitigate the impact generated by deforestation and forest degradation, promoting participatory reforestation and sustainable local development. It is located in the Municipality of El Retorno, in the Department of Guaviare, in the Amazon biome, which, given its physical and climatological conditions, makes this area a fundamental area for climate regulation.

Another objective of this project is the empowerment of indigenous women, to provide them with job opportunities in a safe environment that allows them to improve their quality of life.

Lluch Essence offers a wide portfolio with more than 4000 references, raw materials of vegetable, animal, mineral or synthetic origin.

In order to provide our customers the best product variety and typology (organoleptic and physicochemical properties), we maintain a long-lasting commercial relationship with the leading manufacturers of raw materials for both perfumery and food, as well as with those manufacturers who harvest and create essential oils in smaller volumes. Purchases of raw materials are intended to be economically, socially and environmentally sustainable, promoting the economic development of rural communities and purchasing directly from the origin countries reduces the number of intermediaries, the carbon footprint in the distribution process and improves the living conditions of many families. In terms of environmental impact, Lluch Essence is aware of the impact that the company can generate. That is why, since 2019, an assessment of the carbon footprint is carried out, following the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), of the heartquarter in Barcelona and its subsidiaries in Mexico and Colombia.

The compensation of the carbon footprint is carried out through conservation processes framed in sustainability criteria in the department of Guaviare in Colombia. In this project, the indigenous communities together with an association, are in charge of the protection of natural forests, the rescue of their cultural identity and productive practices. Thus contributing to the fulfillment of at least eigth of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations: no 1 (No Poverty), no 2 (Zero Hunger) no 5 (Gender Equality), no 7 (Affordable and Clean Energyl), no 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), no 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), no 13 (Climate Action) and no 15 ( Life on Land).

Respect for human rights is the base of Lluch Essence's ethical commitment. For this reason, Lluch Essence and all its employees recognize and are committed to the respect of internationally recognized human rights as stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

Lluch Essence promotes equality and quality in people's work. There is a 65% job stability, and we continue to grow so that the positions are even more stable. We work on family conciliation policies, offering our staff flexible hours, the possibility of one day of teleworking for positions that allow it, and we ensure that work is decent according to our collective agreement.

Companies hold the crucial factor in reaching that idyllic future, using their position in the global marketplace to drive sustainable initiatives and requesting the collaboration of their stakeholders.

That is why at Lluch Essence we are aware of our impact on society and work as a team to establish an effective environmental strategy that is aligned with the company's objectives and values.

Lluch Essence has an environmental policy that includes the principles and values to which we are committed, which can be summarized in the following commitments:

§  Adopt the necessary measures to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and other voluntary commitments.

§  Preventing, controlling and minimizing the environmental impact of the activity on the environment. Opting for those investments or optimization of resources that allow for sustainable growth.

§  To ensure compliance with environmental regulations, Lluch Essence has a consolidated Carbon Footprint Calculation Methodology following GHG Protocol standards:

o   Data collection for the Emissions Inventory (biannual registration).

o   Compilation of electric energy consumption (monthly record).

o   Water Footprint calculation with the Water Footprint Network Calculator.

o   Calculation of Carbon Footprint with the OECC (Spanish Climate Change Office) Calculator.

o   Other environmental indicators such as: pollutant emissions, percentage of waste sent to landfill, percentage of renewable energy consumption, percentage of renewable energy generated, percentage of hazardous waste generated, etc. (annual record).

§  Actions to control environmental impact:

o   Since October 2019, Lluch Essence, started a collaboration with ClimateTrade, to minimize the environmental impact by offsetting the emissions generated (facilities, vehicles, commercial flights and participation in exhibitions). Likewise, in 2021, its digital platform was used for carbon footprint compensation.

o   In 2021 it has a portfolio of organic, natural and sustainable products. All of them certified by CCPAE and ECOCERT.

o   We are working to prioritize raw materials that do not come from species that are under attack or in danger of extinction, as is the case of palm oil. Likewise, we prioritize suppliers that work with this product to be certified with RSPO, for a sustainable use of palm oil.

§  Actions to reduce energy consumption:

o   Lluch Essence has created an energy transition strategy for the year 2023, in order to install solar panels which will provide 100% of the energy needed in the company.

§  Participation in sustainable initiatives:

o   In 2021 Lluch Essence has had the opportunity to participate in different trainings and seminars that have helped us to consolidate our actions in favor of sustainability.

§  Staff training on minimizing environmental impact:

o   In order to raise awareness among the Lluch Essence team and as a follow-up to the activity carried out for the World Recycling Day, additional and specific trainings on Recycling have been carried out.

§  Prevention of environmental risks through the following sustainability indexes:

o   Ecovadis: Lluch Essence responds annually to the EcoVadis CSR evaluation questionnaire. The final score is calculated based on 21 CSR criteria in the following areas: Environment, Social, Business Ethics and Responsible Purchasing. In 2021, Lluch Essence has obtained a score of 59/100, 13 points higher than our previous score, obtaining for the first time the company's "Silver" level of commitment. This score places us above the average score of the companies evaluated by EcoVadis in our sector. Our scorecard is currently shared with 34 of our clients. 

o   SEDEX: Is one of the world's leading ethical trade membership organizations, working with companies to improve working conditions in global supply chains. They provide an online platform, tools and services to help companies operate responsibly and sustainably, protect workers (health, safety and labor standards) and source ethically. as part of Lluch Essence's transparency policy, we share our report with our customers through the SEDEX platform: ZC131445924.

At Lluch Essence we believe in a development based on continuous improvement, we start by carrying out small acts related to responsible consumption that have a big impact on the environment such as, for example, the replacement of plastic cups and toilet paper for others made of materials that have less impact on the environment.

Following these guidelines, Lluch Essence is working on a project to replace lab coats with a more sustainable option. These will be made according to eco-design parameters.

Similarly, one of Lluch Essence's most ambitious projects is the eco-design of secondary packaging for product samples sent to customers. We are currently in the planning stage, in which our ambition is to create a monomatrerial, resistant and efficient packaging to send the samples of our products.

Compliance is the set of procedures and best practices that have been defined with the aim of minimising the legal and operational risks that may arise from conducting our business and that may lead to fines and penalties or even criminal consequences. For this purpose, internal mechanisms for prevention, management, control and intervention have been established. In this regard, the Lluch Essence Code of Ethics has been integrated into the strategy of the company as part of the corporate culture. Its purpose is to establish the principles, values and rules of conduct that govern the ethical behaviour of everyone who is part of Lluch Essence and all its stakeholders.

All persons who are part of Lluch Essence must maintain strict observance of the existing legislation in all territories in which the company conducts its business. When recruiting personnel, Lluch Essence is governed by the principle of non-discrimination due to gender, age, nationality, religion, political or sexual orientation, marital status, disability or familial responsibilities.

Relationships among Lluch Essence professionals must always be based on mutual respect and trust defined by freedom, the spirit of collaboration and the inherent rights of individuals for the purpose of maintaining a pleasant working environment. From Lluch Essence, being loyal to our values and always acting with a sense of responsibility, we commit ourselves ethically with clients, partners, suppliers, and associations of the sector, both private and public, to achieve positive results.

At the marketing and communication department, we contrast the sources of information, being objective communications and according to our principles, without prejudicing others and taking into account the behaviors of the code of ethics. We work hand in hand with agencies and suppliers that comply with good practices and we apply fair selection criteria for the contracting of services. In addition, we apply a policy of complete transparency with all stakeholders.

We take our clients in consideration, we like to listen to them and give them the solutions they need, and we like to be with them when making decisions, taking into account the cultural and social factors of each market.

Our suppliers are our partners and we have a continuous dialogue with them, ensuring a good level of business ethics, and taking into account that they work with respect for the environment and people.

With respect to our employees, we are committed to promoting an environment of open communication, creating development initiatives and relying on them for initiatives that promote the improvement of the company, work processes, as well as improvements at a personal level.

In terms of data protection and privacy, we have all of our employees' confidential information registered through department-specific GPOs. With respect to customer data and more confidential information, the information is not available in its entirety physically, and is hosted externally to a multinational technology company that handles Microsoft, IBM or SAP data. That is why they have a rigorous backup system, with network knowledge and certifications capable of coping with our infrastructure.

Lluch Essence considers it essential to get involved and actively participate in the community, both locally and internationally. One of the actions aimed at reducing our environmental impact has been the calculation of our carbon footprint and the subsequent compensation in social and environmental projects. This year CO2 emissions have been offset with the "Yaawi Iipana Redd+" project, which is a conservation project framed in sustainability criteria.  The goals of the project are: the protection of forests, protection of animals in danger of existence, rescue of cultural identity and promotion of productive practices, and the empowerment of women in the community.

Agenda 2030 y Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODSs) en acción 

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. It is a global agenda, based on five dimensions: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Collective Participation articulated in 17 Sustainable Development Goals, divided in turn into 169 goals to be met in 2030, which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership.

For years, scientists have warned us that environmental problems, which are the consequence of human activity, represent a danger both to our health and that of the planet. The coronavirus has shown us that we are not immune to these threats and their impact must not allow us to forget the great challenge facing humanity: the fight against climate change.

At Lluch Essence, we are strongly committed to 2030 Agenda, we have already undertaken specific actions and we believe efforts to pool together all of the work that is already going on should be included. Sustainability in business activities is being transformed into an essential component that allows us to succeed and thrive.

Lluch Essence works with local suppliers offering fair trade in its products with the aim of increasing economic activity in the local region and providing sustainable income.

In 2021, Lluch Essence's carbon footprint was 280 tons of CO2 equivalent, which was offset through our partner Climatetrade, through the YAAWI IIPANA REDD+ project.

YAAWI IIPANA REDD+ is a conservation project that seeks to protect part of the forests of the Amazon region and mitigate the impact generated by deforestation and forest degradation, promoting participatory reforestation and sustainable local development. It is located in the Municipality of El Retorno, in the Department of Guaviare, in the Amazon biome.

Objetivo 2: Poner fin al hambre, lograr la seguridad alimentaria y la mejora de la nutrición y promover la agricultura sostenible.

Lluch Essence collaborates with the Food Bank in a campaign that mobilizes the entire company. The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness and inform workers about the reality of poverty in our country.

The campaign involves setting up collection points for non-perishable foodstuffs at strategic points in the company, so that employees can donate. This action lasts approximately two weeks and has been very well received by the workers of Lluch Essence, so that we have been collaborating with them since 2019.

At Lluch we are committed to our workers, providing them through specific Partners, an assortment of seasonal fruits of up to seven different varieties from local farms, so that all workers can enjoy the best of the farm in the office, thus promoting healthy habits that have a positive impact on the health of all. 

Likewise, Lluch Essence works to provide its workers with a range of benefits to facilitate work-life balance.

For example, it offers a flexible start, finish and lunch schedule, for those positions where this can be done, as well as the possibility of accessing a premium health insurance at a much more affordable price than in the current market, thanks to the strategic relationship that Lluch Essence maintains with the insurance company.

At Lluch Essence we are committed to people and their training. Through the Escola Lluch program, we encourage and empower young university students in their first steps in the working world.

Likewise, we collaborate with the Educo lunchroom scholarships, helping children to have access to decent food. In Lluch Essence we understand that the right to education should be on equal conditions for everyone, since it is known that the ability to succeed depends to a large extent on a quality diet.

With these scholarships Lluch Essence got 9 children can access a healthy dining room for the school year 2021/2022.

In addition to biodiversity conservation, an objective of this project is the sustainable growth of their local communities, through the empowerment of indigenous women, to provide them with job opportunities in a safe environment that allows them to improve their quality of life.

Lluch Essence is committed to an efficient, sustainable and renewable production in an environmentally friendly way, focusing our efforts on the production of our own solar energy for self-consumption by installing solar panels, in addition to those we already have, to cover 100% of energy consumption.

In this way we will be self-sufficient in energy and if possible be part of an energy community, to manage the surplus energy in our locality and contribute to a collaborative, fair and decentralized energy system.

It should be noted that by the year 2021, 100% of the energy used in the headquarters located in Barcelona will come from renewable sources.

Likewise, we encourage our suppliers to do the same, through a specific code of conduct for suppliers, which establishes the principles, values and standards of conduct that should govern the ethical behavior of all people working for Lluch Essence.

At Lluch Essence we innovate for a better future. Through the expansion of our portfolio with natural, organic and sustainable products. Similarly, we are committed to a digital transformation in all internal processes of the company.

We are committed to circular economy projects such as the pallet recirculation project. Pallets are an essential element in our tertiary packaging, so the management of their waste is key to maintaining a sustainable industry.

The pallet recirculation process begins when we detect those pallets that no longer fulfill their function due to damage or other causes. We have the service of a company approved by the waste agency of Catalonia, which is responsible for collecting the residual pallets, transporting them, repairing them with remaining parts of other pallets from other companies. Finally, the repaired pallets are returned  and others are sold to other companies that use the same type of pallets.

In Lluch Essence we work to create an environment free of inequalities, we understand equality as one of our fundamental pillars in our business strategy, which is why we declare our commitment through the equality plan.

Our objective is to promote the development of a company culture in favor of the strategic integration of the principle of equal treatment and opportunities in the management of our human capital, incorporating the gender perspective and other diversity factors in all our internal and external procedures, thereby expanding our CSR strategy in the social sphere. 

On the other hand, in October 2021, at Lluch Essence it was organized a Clothing Donation activity. Everyone at Lluch Essence donated as much clothes as they could to Amiga's foundation (https://www.formacioitreball.org/es/).

By donating second hand clothes we help to create a more just and cooperative society, as they are sent to developing countries and disaster stricken areas. We can also be part of a circular economy contributing to sustainable development.

In Lluch Essence we prioritize working with local entities for the realization of projects framed in sustainability, trying to create collaborative communities with sustainable growth. 

Likewise, Lluch Essence works with local suppliers offering fair trade in its products with the aim of increasing economic activity in the local region and providing sustainable income.

On the other hand, Lluch Essence is committed to efficient, sustainable and renewable production in an environmentally friendly way, focusing our efforts on the production of our own solar energy for self-consumption through the installation of solar panels, in addition to the ones we already have, to cover 100% of the energy consumption.

As part of our awareness plan, we promote the use of public transportation, walking or cycling for employee commuting, adapting flexible arrival and departure schedules and encouraging teleworking in those companies whose operations allow it, to reduce congestion and pollution in cities and rural communities.

Llluch Essence is committed to responsible consumption through different actions within the company. It provides all employees with a glass bottle so that they can drink water without having to buy it in a plastic bottle. Another action we carry out is the change of hand soap and toilet paper for other products with less impact on the environment.

Lluch Essence is also aware that responsible production is vital for sustainable development. Among all the projects that we carry out, the eco-design of our secondary packaging is one that Lluch Essence has been working to carry out. Similarly, we are involved in circular economy projects, such as the recirculation of our pallets.

Lluch Essence considers environmental management as a fundamental value of the corporate culture. Promoting environmental awareness and allocating the necessary resources to ensure the successful implementation of this environmental policy.

Below, we present our actions implemented in the year 2021:

  • Lluch Essence performs the calculation of Carbon Footprint and its compensation through ClimateTrade
  • Lluch Essence has expanded its portfolio of organic, natural and sustainable products. All of them certified by CCPAE and ECOCERT
  • We work to prioritize raw materials that do not come from species that are under attack or in danger of extinction, as is the case of palm oil. Likewise, we prioritize that the suppliers that work with this product are certified with RSPO, for a sustainable use of palm oil. Lluch Essence has created an energy transition strategy for the year 2023, in order to install solar panels which will provide 100% of the energy needed in the company.
  • In 2021 Lluch Essence has had the opportunity to participate in different trainings and seminars that have helped us to consolidate our actions in favor of sustainability.
  • Lluch Essence promotes sustainable mobility among employees, suppliers and in the distribution of products and services, in order to reduce emissions caused by land, air and sea transport.
  • Lluch Essence carries out an internal awareness campaign to work on environmental awareness.

One of the most recurrent pollutants in the oceans are microplastics, these can be stranded between stones or positioned in places where extraction is almost impossible, bioaccumulating over the years and damaging marine ecosystems.

At Lluch Essence we are aware of the damage that these microplastics can cause, that is why we avoid their use, for example, we replace plastic cups with cups made of PLA, a biopolymer extracted from corn and other renewable crops.

Verificación de contenidos

El Índice RS26000 es una valoración cuantitativa de la sostenibilidad a partir de un conjunto de indicadores específicos de responsabilidad social y ambiental corporativa. Toma como referencia más de 200 variables e integra las informaciones declaradas por la organización en el marco de la norma ISO 26000 y de la Agenda 2030. 

Los Índices e Informes de Sostenibilidad RightSupply RS26000 generados en esta plataforma han de someterse a un proceso de verificación de contenidos a cargo de los auditores de ECOMUNDIS.  La organización podrá optar a validaciones ampliadas de su Índice RS26000, a cargo de organismos certificadores oficiales y dentro de sus propios procesos de certificación de normas y estándares.

Certificado RS26000

Una vez verificados los contenidos, la organización puede hacer público o comunicar su Índice RS26000 ante sus clientes y otras partes interesadas. El Certificado RS26000  tiene una validez máxima anual desde la fecha de su emisión y, una vez este haya prescrito, la plataforma mantendrá accesible el presente Informe RS26000 por un máximo de tres meses.

Right Supply se reserva los derechos de revocar el certificado RS26000 y de eliminar de esta plataforma aquellos contenidos declarados por la organización, si se demuestra que esta haya incurrido en la omisión de aspectos relevantes o en falsedad de las informaciones  aportadas.

EVALUACIÓN DEL ÍNDICE RS26000

El sistema de evaluación RightSupply traslada el valor numérico del Índice RS26000 a una escala de letras de menor a mayor sostenibilidad y de acuerdo con el siguiente gráfico.

EVALUACIÓN RS 26000 POR MATERIAS FUNDAMENTALES

Por otro lado y de forma complementaria, el desempeño de la organización es evaluado numéricamente para cada una de las siete materias fundamentales de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (ISO 26000) y mediante una escala que otorga 7 puntos o estrellas.  Con el objeto de reconocer el esfuerzo de las organizaciones, se establece que las cuatro estrellas de mayor puntuación sean distinguidas con el color dorado. De esta forma, la organización podrá cuantificar el número total de estrellas doradas obtenidas de forma acumulada.

Company Sustainability Index es el sistema de evaluación y puntuación escogido por las organizaciones para analizar objetivamente su progreso en materia de sostenibilidad, mejorarlo progresivamente y comunicarlo ante sus clientes y stakeholders.

Gracias a las informaciones introducidas en la plataforma, el sistema genera de forma automática el Informe RS26000, facilitando la evaluación y el reporte de la responsabilidad social corporativa de las empresas. Dicho informe puede ser registrado como documento COP (Communication On Progres) en el esquema Global Compact de las Naciones Unidas.
